Let’s Give Life to Vines is a project by the “El Bric” cultural association that aims to nurture the vineyard of the La Fabbrica estate on the hills, starting from the premise that it was planted in 1960 and requires special care.
These vines, which have always been productive, have been neglected for several years following the passing of their winemaker. Since 2024, they have flourished again and are ready to be entrusted to new, expert hands.
Located on the Cremolino hill, where it is possible to apply for the controlled designation of origin (DOC), the half-hectare is planted with Barbera vines and a few Dolcetto vines.
The association proposes to offer a symbolic lease of a row of vines to one person for one year, a commitment that can be renewed annually, in exchange for the opportunity to care for it and, upon harvest, to receive a bottle of Barbera and Dolcetto. The rental fee is €100 and includes a set of gloves, shears, and a plaque to affix to the first trunk with your surname.
The following procedures are required: winter pruning, summer pruning, tying, and harvesting.
If you’re unable to teach, an expert will be available by appointment.
